After weeks of testing, dyeing, labeling and organizing hanks of yarn, our dyers' notebook is finally completed. It includes several pages of easily understood, printed instruction – similar to that presented on our "Lanaset Dyes" page – along with 422 generous yarn samples. Next to each yarn sample is the recipe or formula used to achieve the color. Each color is shown on both white wool and light gray wool. The yarns used in "Lanaset Rainbows" are high quality, moth-proofed wools.

All thirteen of the Lanaset Dyes are presented either in their pure colors or in two and three color blends. The results are a diverse collection ... from pale pastel to deep vibrant colors. Some colors are shockingly bright others are subtle.

At the right is just a small sampling of the colors and dye recipes presented in "Lanaset Rainbows." This is a selection of medium-light colors, going from light yellows through oranges, reds, purples, blues and ending with light greens. . dye notebook 1
